Steps to join the Club
Step 1 – Contact Us to arrange your first training session
Before playing with Breakaways Netball Club you will need to Contact Us to arrange your first training session.
At certain times we may be over-subscribed and you may need to be put on a waiting list. All players will be screened by the coaches before joining the club so you can be placed in the most appropriate group.
Step 2 – Attend 4 Sessions with Breakaways
Each new member should attend at least 4 sessions, and if the coaching team agrees that your child is ready to participate in Breakaways you will need to move to Step 3.
Step 3 – Join England Netball
All members of Breakaways Netball Club must be members of England Netball before taking part in training and matches after initial screening sessions.
England Netball Memberships run from 1st September to 31st August and you are responsible for renewing this annually.
Membership with England Netball means you are covered by personal injury insurance, are eligible to enter into tournaments, receive discounts on netball events, and can attend officiating and coaching courses.
Step 4 – Complete Membership Form
All players/parents must read and complete all relevant sections of the Membership Form.
Players/Parents must be fully aware of the clubs’ rules, procedures and policies.
Step 5 – Setup Regular Payment for Breakaways
Set up a standing order with your bank for the correct amount indicated in the pack.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your monthly fees are being paid each month
Step 6 – Setup Teamer App
Once you have set up regular payments, you will need to download the Teamer app and register using the same email that you registered with.
You will then be invited by the club to join the relevant team/s you have joined.
